Going Green Theme

Here's an example of a site using the Going Green Theme. The home page is configured to display a couple of posts. Susanna Duffy

To comfigure the Home Page on the Going Green theme, first navigate over to Widgets.

Dashboard - Appearance - Widgets

Now we work in the widget area called Homepage

Drag a Featured Post widget to the Homepage area and configure it. This is what that widget area looks like in my site

This is how I've configured the widget Genesis - Featured Posts

I have a category named Featured

I'm going to tell WordPress to display the 2 latest posts from Featured. I want to display the image from that post too so I've ticked the appropriate box and chosen a thumbnail size to display left

The next Featured Post Widget is featuring posts from the category Books. I only want one post to show and I've configured the widget accordingly.
